Curatorial Statement: “This zine was made in collaboration with OBRA Collective as a continuation of the FRONTERAS series. During this workshop we created individual pages, and shared what it means to be a Latinx in America. Raw and honest, this publication is about breaking boundaries and the stories that we carry— straight from the source. These are the pieces of our lives.”
OBRA (Observe, Bridge, Respond, Art) Collective is an advocacy arts group based in Charlotte, North Carolina. They are a group of Latino, immigrant, undocumented and ally artists who create immigrant affirming art in order to raise awareness about the immigrant and undocumented community.
